People often ask me “How do you put together those paper shadow theater things you make?”*. Here’s a quick visual tour of the process. You can click on the pictures to see more detail.
First, “weed” the layers, removing the cut-out sections Pile up the different layers to see a preview. For each layer, fold on the score lines. Fold the corners and tape them. Glue around the edges and stack two layers. Put a book or other weight on top after adding each layer until the glue dries. Zip-dry is the current glue of choice.
